letting go

over the years, i had placed unnecessary burdens on myself… which i’m feeling guilty about it… lately, i’ve realized that… i should learn to let go… n i’m now in the process of learning to let go most of the things which held me back for so long!

there are things which are indirectly related to me, which, in reality, out of my control… i learnt that, no matter wat i try to do, or say.. i juz cant seem to change a thing… because some other people has better say in it… because it’s their "problem"

most of the times, i strive to be a better person, but things around me tends to bring me down n mould me to be an evil person… which i don’t deny… i m evil at times when i’m forced to… but y should i?? i live for myself… i dont live for nobody…

at all times, i feel like changing everything around, using all the power n strength that i have, but, i realized that i’m juz me, alone… since those things never wanna change themselves or they are juz fated to be "stubborn" … y should i bother??

though it took me quite awhile to realized this… but… it’s never too late…. it’s not easy to let go off things u held for such a long time, but when u find plausible reasons to do… it’s juz so easy to let go! and of course, i’m feeling lighter… "emotionally and mentally"

these unnecessary burdens are juz gonne preclude me from being someone i wanna be… it’s juz gonna preclude me to achieve things i wanted to achieve in life~!

but i believe, this process of letting go… will not keep me far from reaching where i wanna be or where i belong….

Certificate in Legal Practice examination to be abolished

KUALA LUMPUR, WED:

The Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP)examination introduced in 1984 for aspiring lawyers will be abolished and in its place law students will be asked to sit for a Common Bar Course (CBC) followed by an examination before they can become practising lawyers.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Zaid Ibrahim said the change was mooted to maintain a high quality legal industry.

“Having the CBC will ensure law students are properly trained before they enter the legal profession. The course and the examination will be compulsory for each student wanting to be a practising lawyer, irrespective whether they graduated locally or abroad,” he told reporters at Parliament’s lobby today.

Students not intending to become practising lawyers need not take the course or the examination, he said.

Earlier, in a written reply to Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor) in the Dewan Rakyat, Zaid said a comprhensive study pertaining to the introduction of the CBC was in the final stages and it included the form it would take and which institution would handle it.

The study was being handled by a CBC committee appointed by the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia, he said, adding that it was being guided by an internal consultant appointed by the same board and was also well represented by the stakeholders.

“The government has also agreed that the CBC and CBE (Common Bar Examination) will be handled by a non-profit organisation. The organisation will be supported by the government,” he said.

Universities offering law courses might also be asked to conduct the CBC once they are equipped with the proper infrastructure and facilities like resource centres, he added.
